Bath & Body Works invests in you by providing benefits and programs that are inclusive and support the diverse needs of you and your family. Our company offers benefits that meet the global standard for transgender health care, including no cap on transition-related coverage. In addition, we offer spouse and domestic partner coverage, gender affirmation coverage, HIV testing, prevention, treatment and therapy coverage.

Benefits Eligible Associates

Through the medical plan, Bath & Body Works provides coverage for the treatment of Gender Dysphoria. Coverage includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Behavioral health services
  • Pharmaceutical coverage (such as hormone replacement therapies, puberty suppression)
  • Coverage for medical visits and laboratory services
  • Coverage for reconstructive surgical procedures related to gender reassignment
  • Short-term medical leave
  • Long-term medical leave

Additional benefits and procedures that may be covered under the plan, when deemed medically necessary:

  • Hair removal required for reconstructive surgery
  • Tracheal shave/reduction
  • Facial feminization and facial masculinization surgeries
  • Lipoplasty/filling for body masculinization or feminization
  • Travel and lodging expenses

Bath & Body Works’ family planning benefits have expanded to be inclusive and supportive of each family’s journey. Associates are provided with a comprehensive and inclusive family-building benefit toward fertility treatment and related medications, adoption and surrogacy through WINFertility.

We also think it’s important for you to take time off from work to bond with your new family member. Associates who are non-birth parents, including adoptive parents, can take six weeks of parental leave at 100% pay.

We recognize that families grow in lots of ways. To support you, full-time associates may receive reimbursement for adoption and surrogacy related expenses up to $20,000.

Health Advocate is a health care assistance company that will help you and your family find doctors, make appointments, navigate insurance plans, get second opinions and resolve claims, among other services. Health Advocate is offered at no additional cost to you, your spouse or domestic partner, dependent children, parents and parents-in-law.

If you are enrolled in the Group Legal Plan through ARAG, you can access the services, consultation and representation of network attorneys and additional tools and resources. Whether you’re buying a home, getting married or working on a will, legal insurance from ARAG can help LGBTQIA+ individuals in ways specific to their needs.

If you are not enrolled, you still have free access to ARAG’s online resources. You can enroll in the Group Legal Plan during open enrollment, typically in November of each year.

Mental Health and Wellness – ComPsych EAP

If you need a mental health resource, including digital tools or someone to talk to for help with maintaining good mental health, the EAP can help. As a Bath & Body Works associate, you, your eligible family members and housemates can take advantage of no-cost, confidential counseling services with trained professionals. The EAP can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
